Crisis & Counseling Centers has designed its outpatient services with an understanding that individuals are complex and unique. When you make an appointment for services, your first session will be spent answering questions that will help us understand what services you need.

Our clinical staff will treat you with respect, recognizing that you are in charge of your own health. They will work with you to determine a course of treatment - what it is that you need or want to accomplish through your meetings with them - and how to make that happen. We can provide substance abuse treatment and treatment for mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, and any other issue, including the prescribing and management of medications you may need.

Are Outpatient Services Right For You?

Individuals use Crisis & Counseling Center’s Outpatient services for a wide-range of reasons, including:

  • coping with ongoing conflict
  • working through marriage or family tensions
  • addressing a substance use problem or addiction
  • dealing with an ongoing mental health diagnosis and receiving medical oversight of prescribed medications
  • complying with a court order to receive treatment - to reinstate driving privileges - or for other reasons.

How Do I Pay?

We accept MaineCare and most private insurance and also offer limited assistance for substance abuse services through a sliding fee scale, to those who qualify.
