Crisis OutReach - Prevention & Aftercare
For individuals and families who have received crisis services, OutReach staff will work with them for a limited period to help them secure recommended services. Through special agreements with other community agencies, OutReach staff are often able to get appointments for clients within days, which might otherwise take weeks or months.
OutReach staff can also:
- Provide additional support by phone or in person
- Work with you and your other providers on a safety plan and ways to avoid future crisis situations
- Arrange a consultation with one of our psychiatrists
- Follow-up with you after a stay at a hospital or crisis unit
